     We, A&J, have lived here in San Diego all of our lives [give or take a few years recently] and we enjoy food. A lot. This is mine and, as far as I know, A's first real venture into the wild world of writing outside of school work and the such, so bare with us.

      Ideas/Comments/Suggestions on how to improve this site are always welcome, whether it's about the blog itself, places to try, the way we write [I know I'm horrid, should probably take a writing class or two] or even about the layout of the site [neither of us have any experience with HTML or CSS but we plan on milking our savvy friends for hints and tips].

     We are both 20 somethings raised in the not-quite ghetto, but some people may think of it as such, but for us, it was just home. Because of this, we both became ever-so fond of hole-in-the-wall cafes and taco carts. When I moved away a few years ago, I moved to what turned out to be a foodie dead-zone. Worse than that so, it was in the middle of nowhere, so if I did find somewhere to eat online, it was at least an hour drive to get there. So that led me into a near-obsession with food blogs and foodie sites and the like.

    So, it was only a matter of time until I was able to beat my idea into A's head that we should start a lowstar foodblog down in sunny San Diego. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what this turns into, right?


     As of right now, the background image is a lovely photo of San Diego by OVEclipse on deviantart that I mirrored for tiling, I have to get around to asking her if I can use it...
